Andy started racing in 1982. & won the UK Street Racer Championship in '85 followed by Gary's picnic in '86.  Andy was involved in the Outlaw Anglia's from its start in 1992, debuting the Amersham Communications Car at the End of '93. During his first full season of competition Andy won the '94 Outlaw Anglia Championship & recorded the quickest & fastest Anglia pass 7.57/181mph, but was unable to back it up for an official record.

At the end of '94 Andy moved onto Top Fuel Dragster competing from '95 to '97 before trying his luck across the pond. Andy is currently back in the UK & competing in the FIA European Top Fuel Championship.
