Andy started drag racing in 1989, firstly at RWYB events then competing in ET Brackets before joining the Outlaw Anglia's in 1992. He progressed from a 351ci Cleveland Motor; to a 461ci big-block Chevy, running C-16 & Nitrous. Before finally opting for a Kenny Coleman built Alky 468ci b.b. Chevy. Andy's racing career came to an abrupt end at Santa Pod  with a top-end, high speed roll, during qualifying at the 95' Easter Thunderball. Fortunately only the car & Andy's wallet were damaged, the latter irreparably.

Andy is the founder (& currently sole) member of the Outdoor Anglers - a hoods-up fishing class, known for its sick-over-the-side action.
