Richard Colby had electrical problems & didn't qualify.

1st Round

OA1 Paul Wright  -  bye 

With a new clutch working well Paul ran 7.76 /179mph

OA16 Pete Ashworth   v   OA 84 Dave Sidaway

Pete was looking to backup his first 7 second pass but got way out of shape at the top end, crossing the centre-line into Dave Sidaway's lane, collecting a couple of timing mirrors & an instant disqualification. Dave on the other hand picked up his 1st Outlaw Anglia round win.

OA22  Rob Stone  v  OA344  Ray Guy

Rob progressed to the semi-final, away from the tree 1st by a tenth and running 9.52/138.7mph to Ray's 10.06/130mph

Dave ran 10.24/132mph

OA1 Paul Wright  v  OA22 Rob Stone

 Pretty even off the line, but soon the blown alky power started to show Guv progressed to the final 7.78/180.9mph to Rob's 9.43/141mph

Final

OA1 Paul Wright  v  OA84 Dave Sidaway

 Dave's 1st final nothing to loose, Guv hoping not to throw it away. The race went as per the form book Dave running 10.48/126.4mph. The Guv racing team however dominating with a 7.73/179.2mph

Thanks to the organisers for the huge amount of work they had to do, not only in trying to prepare the track in between monsoon type deluges, but also removing large volumes of water from the pits & roads.
