Bulldog Bash 10-12 August 2001Shakespeare County RacewayEntrants
Friday 10th AugustDale Giles was unable to attend due to a transmission problem, found whilst attempting to load his Anglia onto the trailer. The Bulldog Bash is a non-competition, demonstration event for the Outlaw Anglia's, Track conditions weren't marvellous for both the 1pm & 5pm sessions, most drivers backing off at mid track. Bob Hancox had yet another weekends racing cut short, after suffering a gearbox failure during his burnout in the first session. That boy has NO luck. Saturday 10th AugustAfter a late start due to rain, it was decided to scrap the 1pm session in favour of running the masses of rwyb. bikes, which is after all what the event is about. The 5pm session went ahead as planned. Pete Moore getting out of shape in the burnout & Rob Stone with a huge left turning wheelstand kept the large and appreciative crowd entertained. Thanks to the organisers for again including us in this outstanding event.
