Sunday 9th September

12:30 Session  PRO

OA1  Rob Stone   v   OA25  Pete Moore

Rob took the win with 9.86/135.5mph against Pete's late-charging 10.63/129.3mph

OA2  Bob Hancox   v   OA298  Steve Wells

Bob left the line well netting a solid 10.16/117.4mph Steve suffered from clutch problems that had plagued his weekend slowing to 18.25/40.39mph

OA5 Al O'Connor  v  OA3 Cliff Griffin

Cliff was up against it with this match up. Al staying true to form taking the win

OA77 Bob Doignie  v  OA657 Neil Grant

This pair often compete in Super Street, when both cars are set-up to be very closely matched, but heads-up the dice are severely loaded in Bobs favour 9.91/131.9mph against Neil's 10.73/124.6mph tells the story

12:30 Session  SPORTSMAN

OA590 Aidan Kenny  v  OA53 Brian Nixon

Aidan is getting more polished with his bracket racing, competing in Pro ET when not participating with the Outlaw Anglia's. Taking the win with 11.544/115.6mph on a 11.54 Dial-in to Brian's loose-out 14.30/108.5mph on a 12.50 Dial-in

OA21 Paul Hensher  v  OA46 Rich Gilbertson

Paul was testing a brand new moly chassis this weekend under the familiar Gas Attack body dialling-in 9.00 ran 12.38/71.6mph leaving a cherry on the tree. Rich also first time out since rebuilding dialled-in 15.00 & ran 14.67/87.0mph.

 OA823 Gary Malin

Gary suffered a burst coolant hose, coming out of the burnout.

14:30 Session  PRO

OA1 Rob Stone  v  OA2 Bob Hancox

Bob Hancox has been finding some unexpected form from this "spare" engine combination, & was definitely in with a shout. Rob however stole his thunder with a 9.77/137mph against Bobs 10.04 / 135.9mph

OA5 Al O'Connor  v  OA77 Bob Doignie

On paper looked to be the closest race of the weekend & didn't disappoint There was only 3 hundredths in it off the lights, in favour of Al' but Bob turned that into an 11 hundredths victory at the fast end. 9.909 132.4mph to Al's lose-out 9.952 131.6mph

16:45 Session  PRO

With 1 lane oiled from mid-track on & the curfew fast approaching we were unable to run Rob Stone v Bob Doignie, would have been a good-un.

 16:45 Session

OA590 Aidan Kenny  v  OA46 Rich Gilbertson

Running in the only available lane Aidan dialled-in 11.42 but ran under with a personal best of 11.41. while Rich dialled in 12.50 & ran 13.65 to take the win.

Thanks to NSRA for a brilliant weekend, Paul Hensher picked up the  Quickest Anglia trophy 9.33/147mph a sure sign for things to come.
