Dave was shut down due to a brake fluid leak, Richard ran a great 8.50/160mph

Ray launched with a big wheelstand then punted a centre reflector 11.13/122mph. Rob went through 9.50/141mph.

OA31 Cliff Griffin   v   OA80 Al O'Connor

Al' left first then Cliff motored past running his second eight, 8.91/151mph p.b. to Al's 10.30/124mph.

OA81 Simon Barlow   v   OA76 Rick Hooper

Rick's street driven Anglia is now equipped with wheelie bars after a huge wheelstand earlier in the year, ran a superb 9.69/140mph Simon has been feeding in more power this weekend & took the win with a 9.32/146mph.

OA19 Paul Hensher   v   OA 74 Steve Harrison

Steve should have faced Paul Hensher but was on a solo due to breakage. Steve progressed with a 11.00/123mph

OA82  Richard Colby   v  OA31 Cliff Griffin

A pair of eight second runners Cliff posted 8.94/151 but it wasn't enough to stop Richard progressing with a great 8.247/168.2mph p.b.

OA81 Simon Barlow   v   OA74 Steve Harrison

Steve piloted Anxious to its final pass of the weekend as 12.05/117mph. wasn't enough to beat an on form Orange Pop Team's 9.46/144mph

Semi-Finals

OA82 Richard Colby   v   OA81 Simon Barlow

Simon was a bit keen on the lights & red-lit however that wasn't the end of the drama, Richard suffered tyre shake away from the tree, then crossed the centreline on 2 wheels, only just staying upright, before coming to rest back in his lane with jammed steering. Simon progressed via the first or worse rule. 9.72/126mph.

OA1 Paul Wright   -   bye

This pass was Paul's most errant of the weekend, only managing 10.19/131mph

Final

OA81 Simon Barlow  v  OA1 Paul Wright

After the last pass Paul took some power out & despite the car moving about in the lane won the round  8.01/174mph to Simons 9.35/142mph
