Eliminations 1st Round (Mon 14:53)

OA1  Paul Wright   v   OA86  Barry Woodford

Barry's car hesitated at the hit however Guv's didn't 7.73/180mph to Barry's 11.73/116mph

OA31  Cliff Griffin   v   OA84  Dave Sidaway

Dave left first but it was even at 60ft, Cliff then powered by running 8.86/150mph. to Dave's consistent 9.86/138mph.

OA81  Simon Barlow   v   OA5  Rob Stone

Simon struggled for traction off the line losing out with a 10.23/142mph. Rob went through 9.60/139mph.

OA82  Richard Colby   v   OA271  Chris Kenny

Chris always Hot on the lights didn't disappoint, Richard was soon past   9.46/149mph to Chris's  slowing 13.78/75mph.

 

Semi-Finals (Mon 18:17)

OA1 Paul Wright   v   OA5  Rob Stone

Pretty even away from the tree another high seven for Paul 7.82/179mph. Rob ran 9.98/131mph with a bang at the top end, subsequent inspection showed the block cracked along one side & a diaper full of oil.

OA31  Cliff Griffin   -   OA82 Richard Colby

This was a great race, Richard had a slight advantage away from the tree & just kept ahead all the way 8.874/150.3mph to Cliffs 8.881/150.2mph

 

Final (Mon 18:49)

OA1 Paul Wright  v  OA82 Richard Colby

The Outlaw Anglias were the last semi-final to run "all finalists to the staging lanes" was being announced as we towed back, so only time for a quick re -fuel & go, hardly ideal ! Richard was away first & despite the clutch being hot Paul was past by 100ft & took the win 7.90/173mph to Richards 10.75/106mph.
